Rockfest 2

The Old Man's Band had a return engagement today. They played for the Bellevue South Stake's 2nd Annual BBQ . Lots and lots of people, fun activities and great food! It was held at Si View Park in North Bend with the majestic Mt. Si in the background..



They rocked the house....well, kind of.........

All Aboard!

On Saturday we decided a little adventure was in store, and what better than a train ride in historic Snoqualmie. We gathered the troops and headed up to the old train depot. After boarding the train, it was a quick ride up to North Bend where we decided to get out and grab a bite to eat. We also wanted to check out the Mt. Si Festival, and although there didn't seem to be much going on, we were excited to find a great band playing at the train station. Aiden and Ireland were loving it and danced up a storm!

After the dance party (see above), it was time to board the train again and head back to Snoqualmie. But not before heading down to check out the Falls! It was a great ride and it really felt like we had been transported back in time. The kids loved the train and it turned out to be a great day and a family memory we will cherish forever. Enjoy!

3 Summer Birthdays

This is one of my favorite pictures of these cute grandkids! And now they've all changed just a little! The summer of 2009 they all celebrated birthdays, Eli-14, Victoria-12 and Gabe-10.....

Whenever I say, "smile" I get some new distorted face pose! He really is a very handsome fellow but is trying to keep it a secret.

Gabe was born the day Safeco field opened, hence the birthday gift of a ticket from opening day which is ten years old, just like Mr. Gabe!

Victoria is like Eli when it comes to the request, "smile"! I get some variation of the grimacing, strained face......Love these guys! Happy Birthday to all of you!

Front Yard v2

One of this summers project has been hacking away at the jungle that was our front yard. We made a bunch of progress on Thursday... thought I'd post some before and after shots...

Old Man's Band Rocks

The band rocked the house.... The Carnation Ward Picnic was amazing! Good food, good music, great swimming, awesome toys, volleyball, pingpong, good friends and FAMILY....What more could you ask for? Thanks Coomers for sharing your home.

Weekend Walkers

Lily and I took a hike...literally. We walked all the way to Duvall on the trail. Nice walk and we really enjoyed the ice cream cones once we reached our destination! Thanks to Grandma for the ride home!
