Carnation Quiz

Since I'm corresponding via snail mail with Gabe and Victoria I thought I'd send them a little quiz.  I'm hoping they will have fun identifying places around town and recall some fond memories.  I'm also hoping it will motivate them to take more pictures and share what's going on in California.  If you know much about Carnation these places should be easy to name......

Lily and I walked to Remlinger Farms during our slight break in the rain this weekend. Caught a peak at their baby Emu. I'm not very fond of birds but isn't that little guy cute??!!!

I know she's not a Grady, but I had to share her anyway. My family got a new addition this week. My sister and her husband had a baby girl on Tuesday. She is so cute and doing great. She is only a few days old and is already spoiled. ;o)

Grandpa Grady Has a Birthday!

Grandpa was at work so the grandkids decided to make him some birthday cards.  They are quite the crafty bunch.

Then they decided we needed to make him a birthday cake.

Grandpa was working late so we then decided that we would do him a big favor. We would help him eat his cake......yum! yum!  (don't worry, we saved him a piece)

We are hoping that Gabe knows more than we do about the economy....

What does every girl want for her birthday???  A new closet of course, so you can store more clothes, shoes, purses, etc.!!




Here's the beginning of the project.  Aaron got it all framed in and wired and then we headed to Seattle on Saturday with the drywall delivery.

The two man crew got to work.

The perfect combination of brains and braun....hmmm...which one is the brains and which one is the braun?

It's almost done!  A little mud, taping, paint, flooring and it's ready for "stuff"!
