I just realized that I never put up any pictures of Labor Day weekend.

Our 4th of July!

Here's a little rundown of how we celebrated the 4th of July. It actually doesn't tell the whole story, only the parts that I happened to have my camera handy! Hopefully Jason will be posting his "Independence Day" video soon, so you can see another version of our holiday!
The day began with the "Run for the Pies"! Here's Aaron waiting anxiously for the start of the big race. We always hope more family members will run, oh well, maybe next year.........
The snocone man did a landslide business. Here's Aiden getting offers from cousins Lily and Victoria.

It's always fun to see friends! The DeBoers joined us for the parade.
Aiden is wondering why all these people are in his town today!
We tried our hardest to "hoot and holler" to embarrass Eli, who was walking with the Sno-Valley All Star baseball team. He's the one in the light blue shorts trying to deny he knows us!
The BIG TOOTH....followed by the sweet "Tooth Fairies"!
A Segway in the parade. Wasn't that the innovative, revolutionary, invention that was going to forever change the way people traveled around town? How many are in your neighborhood?

Our church float.....thinking of Josh Ward.
The Candland Bros!
We ended our day at McDonald Park with some seriously great entertainment. The Battle of Fallen Timbers played to an enthusiastic crowd. Hopefully a little video of the dancing audience will be coming soon.......
All in all, another memorable celebration of our country's 233rd birthday!
